When it was explained by the installers that the antenna the customer had was good for VHF channels 2-6. If you wanted to receive WKBW, you had to purchase an antenna that covered VHF ch 7-13. The response was somewhat negative. YOU ARE TELLING ME I HAVE TO SPEND ANOTHER $100 TO GET ONE CHANNEL? In 1959/60, the industry developed an antenna that covered the entire VHF spectrum. It became known as the 2/4/7 head.
