Can you think of a better time than 3:00 am to do maintenance .  Many times I've been in control rooms with irate listeners calling in, pissed off that we didn't announce we were off air. 

One of the best was at CHFI when they had been running a tone test for about 15 minutes.  Got a call asking what the album was called.    I told them the group was  Wavetek 184, and the cut was "Sweep Caroline".  Dunno if they went to Sam's or not, but I'd love to see the faces .   

I heard it was doing really well in the 20 Hz to 20 kHz market

How about this great new group Masonry on the Forney label? It's a little gritty sounding, but what the hell...
