Looks like Canadaland is no more at CIUT. Curious.
It was once a noteworthy source of media analysis/criticism and some significant investigative journalism, but has suffered recent scrapes and bruises.
Some have suggested that the operation is not a particularly healthy work environment, and the owner has been behaving increasingly erratic in the past few years.
It's unfortunate. We do need a good forum for media criticism that's free of corporate or government pressure.

Good investigative journalism is incredibly valuable and not easy to achieve. What a waste of potential energy...

Buffalo's Investigative Post website knows how to do it. And do it well. Jim Heaney, who heads up the operation, is STILL a PITA to the powers that be in Buffalo and has been ever since he was with the Buffalo News.

Didn't they (Canadaland) break the infamous WE charity scandal?

I'd rather they use that slot for a live and interactive radio program than using the hour to air a podcast.

I do side with Canadaland on this. Most of the reporting was careful and thorough. However, the Keilburgers are at least as spiteful and vindictive as Jesse Brown is, and they caught him.
