    Emergency Radio Stns

    While Enviro Canada cuts its weatherband stations, the Netherlands Antilles is taking a different tack:

    NA isn't alone...

    There's an FM in Bermuda (100.1) which airs music but is equipped to issue alerts as needed.

    I've DXed Bermuda on 89.1, 98.3, and 102.7 (the latter two this summer) but have never heard the 100.1 except on an online SDR located there. BTW, NA is where the 800 Trans World Radio powerhouse is located.

    I thought an 'emergency' radio station was any one I could turn to if I needed to escape John Tory or Brad Smith.
