Will City TV Show Episodes Missed Because Of The World Series?

Now that the World Series is sadly over, I can't help but wonder if - and just as importantly where - City TV might wind up showing all the series they missed while it was on. Seven nights of primetime shows were missed while the final was on.

The Chicago Meds, Fire and P.D. shows, for example, on NBC all ran new episodes while City was understandably airing the Jays.  But those series have ongoing storylines, which viewers here didn't get to see. There should be a way to catch up without having to subscribe to City TV+.  When this occasionally happens with local interruptions in the U.S., they often wind up showing the missed programs at 1 in the morning for those who want to DVR them. My guess? City won't do anything because there's no real place to put them. But it would be a nice service for those who regularly watch those shows and others that have been missed to be able to catch up.

Just looking at Citytv’s schedule for right now, Sunday morning, and afternoon for that matter, they could have a “catch up Sunday”, where they schedule all the missed episodics for people to DVR, or watch. This would be easy to promote and not much program-wise would be lost, as a lot of today’s schedule are repeats anyways. But I doubt they care that much about such things like happy viewers…..!

The very least they could do is perhaps put the missing episodes on their website for free for a limited period of time, so those who missed them on free TV can watch them there. But of course, this is Rogers, where "free" is a four letter word. (Of course it is a four letter word, as well, but not in that context!)

Occasionally KING shows Seattle Kraken games, usually on a Wednesday or Thursday night wich meeses up Med/Fire/PD or L&O/SVU. KING always shows these in the wee hours of the morning here. Sometimes the games go to a shootout and when you tack on the postgame show timing can be tricky. I just tape the entire next program as a safety precaution. That seems to work out fine. Yes I know I could watch it at the normal time, but really do detest simsub that I will make the extra effort to see the free and clear version of the NBC telecast.
