Marc Patrone Goes Way Over The Top On Sauga960
I normally never listen to Sauga960 but I like to tune around occasionally to see what people on GTA radio are up to. And so it was on Friday, that I temporarily landed on Marc Patrone's show.
Frankly, after hearing him, I think the guy has gone right off the deep end, or as a certain Premier is fond of saying, "the cheese has slipped off the cracker."
On Friday's show, in addition to supporting everything going on down south, he somehow grabbed onto a completely insane conspiracy theory that NBC News has had in its possession a piece of film showing Lee Harvey Oswald supposedly standing near JFK's limousine on Nov. 22, 1963, the day the president was shot in Dallas.
According to this insane theory, it proves Oswald didn't do the shooting, and that NBC is refusing to hand over this world-shattering, history changing piece of film. Patrone went on a long rant, demanding the network be forced to hand over this damning bit of evidence and be charged with holding it back all these decades, before predicting they would burn it before giving it up.
(It may not surprise you this was all based on some idiotic speculation that was aired - guess where? - on Fox News. Which in his mind, makes it instantly true.)
I've heard some really crackpot theories over the years, but this one takes the cake. It was simply unbelievable, but at least it happened on a station almost no one tunes into. And to think, this guy was once a CRTC Commissioner! What a kook!

Surely there's got to be someone out there who could actually listen to this, on a station that's the next best thing to the Cone of Silence?

I never listen to this station.
But theories like the JFK thing are for the most part harmless and silly.
Unlike Alex Jones who claimed the Sandy Hook school massacre was a hoax, and then got sued for massive amounts by the families.

Yeah, I try to stay away from this stuff normally, but this was a guy spouting nonsense on a local GTA radio station, which makes it relevant here.
And I just happened to hear it. I think he's certifiable but I suspect it's paid time, so it seems he can do whatever he wants.

No matter how effing insane these assholes are, they seem to maintain traction in today's online infinity-channel universe. They get airtime and space no matter how extreme and ridiculous they are.
I'm of two minds. Either we laugh at and mock the daylights out of them or we totally ignore and shut them out. Social and online media are becoming such poison. Maybe the answer is as massive a boycott as possible of online portals dishing out this shyte. Or perhaps lobby governments to declare TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, et al terrorist organizations. Surely they are causing equivalent harm...

Znaimer should just by the station.
Or even CINA and maybe CINA could just aply for an ethnic licence and move 1650's programing over along with cham's Punjabi programming.

Zoomer’s not buying radio stations, and nobody is going to buy CKNT
