Although I’m sure many of you catch my weekly tech reports on CJAD Weekends with Joanne Vrakas, this morning I had an item likely to be of interest here.
Cincinnati inventor Michael Rechtin has created a coffee table that displays live traffic levels using a map with LED-illuminated pathways. It updates every minute via TomTom, can be voice-controlled through Google Assistant, has different colour modes, and charging ports for phones.
If this was made for sale, would you want one?

Many people start planning their day before they leave the house and sit in their car.

I wonder how he found the time to work at his real job. Personally, I wouldn't have any use for a coffee table like this as I am retired from my fulltime job in Mississauga and I can walk the three blocks to my several days a week parttime job.
