Detroit Radio Host Parodies "O Canada" Over Oilers Loss

You're not really supposed to make fun of another country's anthem, but they didn't care at Detroit's 97.1 The Ticket, teasing The Great White North for its lack of having a Stanley Cup winner in decades.

See it here.

Almost as ridiculous as the faketriotism shown by Juthtin Turdeau’s encouraging Canadians to go ahead and boo the Star Spangled Banner.

Hey Juthtin why dontcha go home and get yer (deleted) shinebox?

I thought it was amusing, and sadly true.  Notice at the end how the host more or less apologizes and says he loves Team Canada and the culture of Canadian hockey. He says that the venom is really directed to the Leafs and their fans. That is the real funny part.

I thought it was funny and very true. It would take a lot more than a light hearted ribbing like this to get me offended.
