This Sunday TVO has the latest in their unique "Tripping" series with Tripping The Muskoka Lakes. Three hours of relaxation, beautiful photography and historical vignettes.

The French River one was interesting. My wife has relatives that own a camp close to Hwy 69, we caught a glimpse of it on that episode.

Instead of watching the Muskoka cruise on television, you can book the tour yourself through Muskoka Steamships. The Segwun and Wenonah II are both fully licensed, so one can enjoy several adult beverages during the cruise. I took the cruise back in the mid 1980's. Some of the boat houses and hired help's living quarters are larger than some of my friend's entire cottages.

I usually go to friends cottage May 24 weekend in Muskoka. Many of the "cottages" are unbelievable and the boat houses/guest houses are huge. Martin Short entertains a lot during the summer months and many of his Hollywood pals stay at his place when they visit. My friends have seen Jimmy Kimmel, Tom Hanks, Goldie Hawn and many others around Lake Rosseau in the summer. Last year I saw Mitch Marner's property and it looked like his cottage had a lot of people out on the deck last year. Roger Ashby also has a nice place in the area as well.

If 'Mr. Wonderful' is out boating with family, be alert. 🤨

The in-person cruise is worth your while if you get historian Richard Tatley on the commentary.

Sure looking forward to seeing this but I will watch it tomorrow night. Why is it starting so late - 9? It’s a 3 hour long show.
Tripping use to start at 7 on a Friday.
