The latest numbers, from January, show the usual suspects on top - WYRK and WBLK, with WGR-AM making a leap to #3. Another AM, WBEN, is also in the Top 5, likely thanks to all the tumult in Washington.
I continue to wonder why the once great WWKB (in its WKBW days) even bothers to waste the electricity to power its 50K transmitter. Dead last again and even beaten by an HD-only station. Wow.
See the list here.

Who was the Christmas station?

WTSS
As for WKBW, they aren’t trying to get ratings. It’s paid time.

WGR because of the playoff bound Bills. They will slip back a bit in the next book.

Why didn't WTSS get the Christmas bump in ratings?

Purely a guess. Perhaps 96.1 didn't promote the "Holiday Hits" format as aggressively as 102.5 did. One of 102.5's promos always made me chuckle. For all the Scrooge's, the regular format was available on HD2 during November and December.

Two other possible reasons:
Christmas does better in PPM markets.
Also, the former WTSS, now K-LOVE was also all-Christmas, but not rated. They probably got a significant audience given they've been the Christmas preset for a long time

Nah, everyone in Buffalo was listening to CHFI for the Christmas tunes...

How did WBEN-AM make it into the top 5? It is totally unlistenable. Talk shows with endless commercials serving as Trump mouthpieces with hateful angry white men spewing theor right wing garbage. What a decline from a once great total service station that was first an NBC affiliate and later CBS affiliate during radio's golden age. How the mighty have fallen

Does WUFO 1080 subscribe to the book? Would have thought they would be in that list, especially now with an FM repeater.

The 6+ numbers posted are heavily weighted to the 55+ audience.
