I keep hearing this ad on all the Corus radio stations for StackTV. It promises that subscribers will always be able to find at least one brand new show on the streamer every single day of the year. That's 365 new and original programs for an entire year (366 if it's a leap year.)
That is the selling point of the spot. Yet I find it almost impossible to believe that Stack could possibly deliver on that promise. At least one brand new show debuting every single day of the year, including Christmas, New Year's, Easter Sunday, May 24th, July 1st and Labour Day, just to name a few? I don't buy it.
But then I don't buy Stack, either, which to me is among the weakest of all the streaming services on offer. I don't think there's much on it that I want to watch. Brand new or not.
But can that claim possibly be true?

A new episode of a show every day? Maybe. However, from what I have seen from their ads, very little of what is available is of interest to me. My biggest complaint is one of their promos shows up on a scroll that takes up 1/4 of the screen during a program I am watching. Very distracting and annoying. However, CTV and the U.S. networks are also guilty of this practice.
