I'm not a monarchist but growing up in Canada one of my Christmas customs is to watch or listen to the Royal Christmas Message in the morning. CBC Radio and television always carry it but do any of the private broadsters still air it?

According to the CBC site, it airs at noon local on TV and 11:50am local on Radio One. Maybe double check on that and there is repeat airings. Merry Christmas!

I hope he does it from the Royal Bathroom at Buckingham Palace.
That would make it a true Speech From The Throne!

CBC News Network and CTV News Channel are also airing it today. CTV, Global, and Citytv appear to not have it on their schedule today.

No need to wait for them if you really want to see it.

I just watched the King's Message on CBC.ca. Dramatic drone opening, and a timely message from Charles. Well done..

I think that is Prince Andrew as the Drum Major conducting The Band of Royal Grenadier Guards.

Could you just screw off, YouTube, with those stupid "info panels" reminding us that the CBC is a public broadcaster? This is Canada, and I know full well about the CBC - I do not need that reminder rammed down my throat.
