Amazon Using New Tech To Recap A Show To The Second You're Watching

What do you think of this idea? It's a feature being rolled out by Amazon (only in the U.S. for now), to provide you a spoiler free summary of the show you're watching, what happened last week or in previous years - and because there's so much time between series debuts, reminders of how last season ended.

"X-Ray Recaps are powered by generative AI and create “brief, easy-to-digest summaries of full seasons of TV shows, single episodes, and even pieces of episodes, all personalized down to the exact minute of where you are watching.” So, whether you’re struggling to keep up with a dense plot minutes into a movie or you’re jumping back into the season you abandoned halfway through, X-Ray Recaps are ready for you."

I kind of like the idea, but would have to see it in action before deciding if I would use it.

Re: Amazon Using New Tech To Recap A Show To The Second You're Watching

The week before the new season begins, NBC airs the previous season's final episode of Chicago Wednesday and L&O Thursdays. I watch them to get caught up. I suspect CBS does the same thing with their FBI and NCIS series.
