98.5 Barrie coming through as wkse this morning

Is CKEY (50 watts) actually broadcasting (or simulcasting) or is this a strong DX signal this morning?

Update: actually I see that it’s DX’ing as all HD signals are showing for wkse.

Furthermore 102.5 K-Love also coming in loud and clear this morning way up in north end Barrie

Re: 98.5 Barrie coming through as wkse this morning

I am almost positive that CKEY 98.5 is no longer on the air.Anyone in or very close to Barrie know?

Regardless, there has been some FM enhancement the last day or two due to the incoming warm air. It doesn't take much for Buffalo to reach Barrie and even further north. This kind of weather seals the deal...

Any visits I’ve had to Barrie over the last year I’ve tried to get Barrie’s Information Station on 98.5 and no signal.

Was it owned by the same company that has an information station in Gravenhurst?

Thanks. Off the top of my head, I believe so...
