A list that's always sad to read.
Ori Siegel was around the Ontario DX Association crowd back in the 90s and such. I knew he worked at CBC, but didn't know his other radio ventures.
Tim Knight was one of the brightest lights I've known in journalism. He was all-over helpful when we were organizing the 1998 conference of the Canadian Association of Journalists. He secured our keynote speaker, Sylvia Vollenhoven, who was a pivotal force in South African journalism when Apartheid was coming to an end. And he was an educator par excellence - an utterly unforgettable opponent of the inverted pyramid style of newswriting, which he correctly pointed out removes any incentive to keep reading after revealing too much up-front.
