The two dead found dead both worked at the Department of Redundancy Department.
They were both members of the NDP Party.
They worked tirelessly to rid the world of the HIV virus.

The humour isn't lost on me, but as someone who has worked in local and national control rooms during breaking news situations, we are mere humans. We do make mistakes.  The trick is to notice them and correct them ASAP.
Don't be smug. Karma will get you, too.

Re: Another Great Moment In TV Graphics

Oh, Karma already did! I spent more than 10 years doing video graphics on a Toronto TV newscast, so I know better than anyone how this stuff sneaks through. I wasn't making fun of whoever did it, sort of commiserating on a hilarious mistake. Believe me, I made my share, although I'm proud to say my accuracy rate was about 99%. But there's always that occasional one that slips through when you're in a rush. I suspect that's what happened here.

Been there, done that!

And then there's this one, still my all time favourite, which I did not do, but have heard about for years. It was posted here in 2018, but it still makes me laugh. Sadly, the pic that proves it happened is no longer available, unless the guy who originally put it up wants to try to do it again on a different server.
