If you're a Sirius satellite subscriber, you know the name Pat St. John. The veteran jock started his broadcasting career at CKLW in Windsor during its run as the biggest station on both sides of the border and hasn't looked back since (including more than four decades on the air in New York City, the top market in North America.)

St. John is finally being honoured with induction into the Radio Hall of Fame, being included with a host of other well known names (and a few who may not be) like Shadoe Stevens, who hosted American Top 40 for just under a decade. 

Also on the list - John DeBella, a veteran Philadelphia jock who just retired at the end of June after 42 years on the air in the City of Brotherly Love. He's also credited with helping create "The Morning Zoo" format, that wound up in virtually every big city with a classic rock station, including Toronto (Q-107 had a version for a while.)

The Radio Hall of Fame boasts hundreds of famous names from the medium's past, ranging all the way from Abbott & Costello, Tom Donahue, Dick Biondi, Dick Clark, and Paul Harvey to J.P. McCarthy, Dick Purtan, Gary Owens, Cousin Brucie, Charlie Tuna, Ryan Seacrest, Wolfman Jack and CKLW's Rosalie Trombley.
