The latest Subway ads playing on AM radio (1010, 640) kind of bugs me and I'm surprised they're allowed. Maybe I'm really mishearing, but in the ad it sounds like the actor is saying "frigging". Now I know this makes me incredibly uptight (and very much a first world problem), but shouldn't there be standards that prevents that kind of language from being used on air?

I absolutely couldn’t stand the guy. Every show was just him exclaiming “WOKE!” and whatever right wing meme-speak was being regurgitated on Reddit and the like. I might as well have tuned into 640 if that’s what I wanted to listen to.
