Heard today on two hourly newscasts. " The teen was shot after pointing a small knife at passengers on an empty streetcar " Some true journalistic professionalism there.

I recall a newspaper article that i saved... buried in a box somewhere... "Death not a Health Risk: Says Hospital". something to that effect. Obviously, it was about a single death caused by a kind of virus, but like most news agencies, the headline sells.
Gotta love interns and/or juniors not having mentors to help. not a new concern, but reporting standards are a thing of the past, sadly.

Getting very tired of hearing and reading headlines that " A man has been killed "after" a crash on the 401.
No he was killed "in" the crash...he didn't survive and was put to death after the fact.

Exactly...died after the crash.. but he wasn't killed after the crash.
