A  Vancouver newscaster on the  Global  (radio) news network said the following in her lead story...


"....An unexpected guilty verdict is expected later today...."


During the intermission last night of the Leafs-Islanders game (Sportsnet)

"....He's making his National Hockey debut in the NHL tonight...."

And last but not least a highly respected - well known - long time high school teacher passed. The local rag carried a story on him - quoting a friend. The rag misspelled the friends surname each of the 4 times they referred to him.

So over the weekend I emailed the reporter to politely tell her of the error. She thanked me & said she was in the process of having it fixed.

Four days later the story remains untouched.
