Multiple Award Winning Sportscaster Dick Enberg Gone At 82

Longtime sports fans are certainly familiar with the voice of Dick Enberg, who had retired last year after an astounding 60 years in the business. The man who called so many games and told so many stories went out with one of his own.

He was due to fly to meet his family for the holidays but never got off the plane. When his relatives asked someone to check on him, they found his packed bags in his house and Enberg dead from an apparent heart attack. It appears he'd been getting ready to leave when his ticker gave out.

He was famous for his "Oh my!" call, was the voice of the Padres (among other teams and sports he covered) and is known for popularizing the phrase "touch 'em all!" after a home run.

Enberg had won practically every award in the book before he passed on at age 82.
