The news department is feeling a lot of the cuts as a re-structuring takes place at AP. Economics, a changing business climate, trends in how and what news media is consumed has led to these cuts. One in ten jobs are gone.

Here is more on the story.

I remember someone on the Yellow Board, writing last year that we would see a different landscape by this time this year. That radio, T.V. and media would look very different. Wow, they were bang on!

I wonder what 2025 will bring. I would love to see creativity, new opportunities and a balanced approach to news media.

It would seem they laid off their SOWNY subject-line punctuation-checker

Do you think, they could be so ruthless to cut the subject-line punctuation checker, weeks before Christmas???
