It's the latest but is it the greatest? ESPN is planning on introducing FACTS, an Artificial Intelligence cartoon character that will update fans of its college football broadcasts on the latest scores and analysis. The network insists it's not putting anyone out of work and it will appeal to kids. 

But here we go again, replacing something a human could do with "someone" who never takes a day off or needs to get paid. My guess is this just the first test of many more FACTS to come.
