I was out in Oakville on Wednesday for several personal appointments. Around 3pm I was receiving WBZ with a reasonably clear signal, not night time clarity but certainly listenable even by non dxer standards. No sign of any other usual blowtorches. Why would I be getting Boston so clear and so early, yet the New Yorkers were still silent. Also, when driving back to Toronto, well after sunset, I was still able to hear CFOS with some splatter from WGR. Normally, CFOS is non existant at night in the GTA. Is it possible someone forgot to switch from day to night pattern? I was listening a little after 6pm.
