New Streaming Service Is Free - With A Slight Catch

The catch is you have to have U.S. VPN in order to sign up for it. 

It's from DirecTV in the States and offers a host of channels, both On Demand and Live. Have to say I looked through what's on offer and there wasn't a lot there that interested me, although they promise more to come. 

Among the offerings: an all Drew Carey Price Is Right channel, an action movie channel, an alien (sci fi?) station, a host of food and lifestyle offerings, an adventure station, several sports channels, a tennis station and a true crime network. And that's just a partial list. 

You do have to sign up, but you can use a spare email address and you don't have to give them your real name, as long as you can recall what you signed in with.

I wonder what the Meateater channel is about. Probably not one that PETA members would enjoy. I would enjoy the Bob Ross Channel. I found watching his show on PBS relaxing and enjoyable.

I love watching Bob Ross. I do find his show relaxing and calming. I watch his videos on YouTube though.

Most of those channels are available elsewhere...and I can do without the Joel Osteen Network !!
