His "goal" may be to one day take over from his old man. But for now, David Bowen is happy in Sudbury covering the Wolves. 

Some day legendary Leafs voice Joe Bowen may decide to drop the mic. His son could be there to pick it up

The nepotism in that line of work is striking. It seems every up and coming play-by-play man is the son of one.

I don't know why but the sports world seems to be rather accepting of the generational hand-offs.
