Some long lost Monty Python-esque cartoons have been unearthed in Britain, leading some fans of the troupe to celebrate. 

Actually, they're not "Python" sketches per se - they're Terry Gilliam animated shorts, in the style of the original program. And they weren't actually even featured in the original show. Instead, they aired on other British comedies. But they're in the same style and spirit of the Pythons and for some, that's enough reason to celebrate. 

"The first two sketches were actually broadcast on The Marty Feldman Comedy Machine in 1971, and the third was shown on ITV comedy show Do Not Adjust Your Set in 1968, but it seems several Monty Python fans missed them altogether."

The good news is they've been hiding on YouTube for the past decade, so if you're a fan and have never seen all three of them, you can watch them on the video below.
