Just noticed that Sportsnet and FOX have separate coverage of the Dodgers and Yankees game.  Sportsnet had fewer commercial breaks during the pre game and so far fewer commercials during the breaks in the first two innings.  Just assumed that SN would have been simsubing FOX for the series, but no. Sportsnet is carrying MLB's  feed for the game.

I’ve noticed the Sportsnet feed includes Canadian Tire ads behind home plate some of the time. Of course, it’s a green screen and there’s no Canadian Tire ad physically in Yankee Stadium; different ad shows in that spot on FOX.

Sportsnet has always carried the international feed for the World Series and the All-Star game.

That's exactly right. Sportsnet has never sim subbed Fox 29 for the Toronto market.
Neither has TSN.
