This won't be music to your ears if you're a Spotify subscriber.

Just as minimum wage went up , this is likely the first of many price increases.

And they still have garbage sound quality compared to Youtube Music or Apple Music.

There isn't an eyeroll emoji big enough.

And nothing to do with Bill C-11, Minimum wage, bike lanes or any other political axes to grind.   They're simply following the lead of their US parent.

Straight from the article: "Spotify has increased its prices in Canada across the board, following a similar move made in the U.S. this past June."

The new individual price is about $2 higher than a similar one I recently encountered with Amazon Music so wait and see for that one to change.

I find Spotify sounds great on my 45 year old AR-14 speakers. Equally impressive on my smartphone with Grado Headphones.

Sorry Spinning Wheel ( great hit from BS&T) it is all about the 5% hit on their Canadian revenue, Just an excuse to pass on the C-11 fee  to consumers never mind the bike lanes, cost of living, gas, carbon tax and everything else that is Trudeau's fault.

Sorry, not taking the bait.  Find somebody else to go off topic with if you want to hijack the thread.
And
Maybe provide proof of your assertion that they're doing it, if you want to ask me why instead of Spotify because right now you're not presenting anything substantive to back up your point.
