I don't listen to Bounce in Kitchener that much, but I haven't heard Tarzan Dan on for a long time in the mid morning shift. Is he sick or on an extended leave for some reason? Can't say I have heard him on air for a few months. When he is on he sounds great. Anyone know why Dan has been absent?

Yes Kitchener plays the same show as Hamilton and the four or five times I have tuned in over the past couple of months whoever is on air always says that they are sitting in for Tarzan Dan. So it's not like they are not talking about him. Wonder what has happened?

It's odd. He's still on the website and he's still very active on social media with iHeart as his cover photo. If you reach out to him there I guarantee he'll get back to you.

Tarzan Dan is still not on Bounce. And he is still showing up as being on the air on their websites, except for some of their stations in BC. Ted Roop has been sitting in on the show for weeks. I don't think I have heard Tarzan on Bounce since about June.

He hasn't been on the Owen Sound station for a while either- one of the ones that WAS sold - and I was wondering if that had something to do with it, but I'm guessing not.

What a sad, sad revelation. As someone who has beaten cancer (fingers crossed - nearly a decade and counting) I know it can be done. I'm hopeful he has the same outcome.

It was years ago but I clearly remember turning on my radio just as Tarzan Dan was doing a break and leaving the dial where it was because of his voice and upbeat personality. He's a natural performer.

Tarzan Dan is back part time until the end of November, and full time starting in December.
