Ted Cassidy isn't exactly a household name, but if you watched The Addams Family in the 60s, you certainly remember the role of "Lurch," the butler, whose most famous line was a deep growled "You Rang?"

Cassidy was an announcer at WFAA in Dallas and was called into the studios on November 22, 1963.
