That time of year again. Four nights with no sports. I gave up on all  the so called All Star games years ago.

There may be one reason to watch this year's All Star Game. It's the first one ever to use "robot umpires" in the majors. I wonder if they'll give it arms, so it can literally eject pitchers who argue with it! Anyway, a historic first that may make this otherwise pointless contest more interesting.

Robot umpires to make All-Robot umpires to make All-Star Game debut, another step toward possible regular-season use in 2026

“Four nights with no sports.”
C’mon man.  What about the WNBA?

Ha, just kidding.

As a fan of motorsports, I record numerous events and watch them throughout the week. I get three dedicated racing channels on my Eastlink package, Fox Sports Racing, Rev TV and Racing in America , and not to forget the Nascar, F1, Indy car and drag racing coverage by the main networks. . A motorheads delight.

It sure is the doldrums of summer TV! I decided to watch some cricket on Willow, the cricket channel,
only to discover that Bell has dropped it from my package, so to speak. It was a channel I would watch every couple of months or so, but had it for years. Bell just quietly removed it, actually surprised me!
