Boss 960AM: "Bad news, Jack. Your show has been cancelled".

Me: "I don't understand".

Boss 960AM: "Sorry about that, but we've decided to go centrist, no longer conservative ".

Me (in shock): "So who else is being fired that's conservative "'.

Boss 960 AM: "no one else ".

Me: "I see ".

Boss 960AM: " Thanks for being so professional".

Anti-semitism?

Advertiser pressure?

Interest group pressure?

Business decision?

Hmmmm.

Listenership to The Jack Berkovits Show was spectacular.

New advertisers growing.

Any admonishnents, complaints, warnings, ever? NONE.

Any congrats, thanks, appreciative notes?

It is a tiny bit ironic that there isn't more sports talk content on Sauga 960, since they (at one point) were aiming to pick up sports that other sources were not already carrying.

Indeed, their June 2025 schedule page does not include Berkovits. Well, there goes all those Omni Jewelcrafters commercials.

In another post he says he was cacelled for being "extremist". Can Mark Patrone and Richard Syrett be far behind? (I thought Syrett had left but he's still on the schedule)

The odd thing about Syrett is that Carrasco had him on his show talking about his departure from Sauga960 in favour of podcasting. Why he's still on, whether he changed his mind, or if they're simply airing rerolls non-stop is an open question.

That radio station is a mess and it appears it's getting worse. It was supposed to cover Mississauga. I rarely hear them mention the city the few times I monitor it - and their studios aren't even there, being located on Westmore Drive - in Etobicoke.
