She revealed the anniversary on John Moore's show Thursday morning, reminding listeners she was hired on June 26th, 1986. 

I note this not because of Denis' special day but how unusual it is for anyone to be at the same station for almost four decades. She started working for CHUM and sadly wound up at Bell Media. And that's one of the reasons longevity is so rare. Who knows how long she may stay but after all these years, she will be hard to replace. 

And there likely won't be many at any station who can say they've been in one place so long.
