This was the weekend that the world's first FM tower was brought back to life. Even if you're not into this kind of history, the pictures in this article are pretty great. And of course, SOWNY member Scott Fybush was there, too!

Armstrong had a penchant for climbing towers, and thoroughly annoyed David Sarnoff by sending Sarnoff a photograph of himself standing on top of the metal sphere at the top of the RCA tower on Aeolian Hall in downtown New York. The man had no fear of heights whatsoever.
