John Edwards, lead singer of the Spinners, dead at 80

John Edwards, who sang lead on the Spinners early '80s hits, covers of The Four Seasons' "Working My Way Back to You" and Sam Cooke's "Cupid", has died at the age of 80 after a long illness.

(Not to be confused with singer Jonathan Edwards, who had a hit single in 1971 with "Sunshine" and is still alive and active, according to Wikipedia).

Maybe he'll bounce back and come back to life by a miracle...he'd be known as the Rubber Band Man for sure...

That or the 2nd coming.
