Former CTV Question Period host and veteran CBC Radio host Evan Solomon took the prize in Toronto Centre and will be heading to Ottawa as an MP. He faced questions about his moving to the U.S. but obviously voters in his riding did not hold that against him.

That makes one broadcaster who won and another (AM640's Greg Brady) who didn't.
