I saw this ad a few weeks ago. I thought it was clever and now with the NHL playoffs upon us this weekend, this commercial is getting more air-play.

I appreciate the creativity of this spot and how Rogers is getting promo for two of their hot properties, the NHL on Sportsnet and Law and Order (Toronto).

What is your take?

Personally some of the commercials of late, lack creativity and strategy, this one had both.

The world would be so good if it weren't for some people...

Speaking of great ads, this one for the streaming service BritBox is quite amazing.

RA, that is well done too and gives you insight to how TV shows are done.

According to this article, they wore out three camera shutters shooting it!

Very clever ad. It reminds me of the TNT promo ads when they had the rights to L&O. Steve Zirnkilton would describe an day in the life of an average citizen, then the extreme effort made to be home in time to watch L&O on TNT. There were plenty of "DUN-DUN's  and as a bonus, he appears in the ads.

Good ad for Rogers.  One promo for two of their shows.  I am sure the company will cash in with strong ratings in the playoffs and lots of Canadian teams in the first round.  The Leafs and Sens hate each other.  Should be fun to watch. GO LEAFS GO!!

Rogers also did one airing during Jays games where Jamie Campbell is sitting in the Jays Central studio with the Stanley Cup. I thought it was clever too, but not as good as the L&O one.
