He hosted a slew of game shows, most famously Tic Tac Dough but was also a radio personality, most recently doing a syndicated oldies-type program. Wink Martindale also had a now almost forgotten hit called "Deck of Cards," a spoken word story of religion and soldiers. It made it to #7 on the Billboard chart back in 1957.

His real first name was Winston, but Wink is how he became professionally known. The front man for other shows, like Gambit, Headline Chasers and High Rollers, was 91.
