The former child star has died at his Florida home surrounded by family after a battle with colorectal cancer.

Jeepers, Mr. Wilson! Another childhood icon gone.

The linked article doesn't mention the other TV series he did. An almost unrecognizable teenage Jay North starred in a one season very obscure NBC show called "Maya." The title character was an elephant and the show took place in India. It did not last long.

Funny, I thought he was much older than that.
Anyway I never found Dennis the Menace TV show, comic book or any other version remotely funny.
As for next door neighbor I thought he should have reported his parents to child protective services for raising an obvious psychopathic child.

Not long indeed. Only 18 episodes. It was done in by the still quite popular Jackie Gleason Show on CBS and a primetime Dating/Newlywed Game combo on ABC.
