Well, that was quick. This great oldies format from Mexico took to the air in November, but now, poof!, it's gone. The guy behind the idea had his lease with XEPRS run out and not renewed, so the music died on Feb. 27th. He's looking to buy an FM in Southern California and vows to return it to the airwaves (which means we could hear it here over the web), but there are no known stations for sale and no timeline that he can actually make it happen.
So my guess is it's over. The station used old airchecks of late classic Top 40 announcers, including Wolfman Jack and The Real Don Steele, along with music from the 50s, 60s and 70s. It was great while it lasted, which unfortunately, wasn't very long.
