Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the TV series Good Witch do a good deal of its outdoor filming in and around Hamilton? (Ditto The Good Witch series of TV movies.)

With the grinding poverty, the rundown buildings, the vacant lots, the coal powered steel mills, the industrial pollution, the dilapidated factories, the strung out vagrants roughing it by the side of the roads, in the parks, under the bridges, the cesspool that is Hamilton, ON is a total Dickensian hellscape updated from the Victorian era to the 21st century that is perfect for making Christmas movies.  A Christmas Carol was practically written to be filmed there!

On a day like today, coming down from the mountain, Hamilton looks pretty nice.  I have had a few friends who  moved to Hamilton over the years and they all seem to like living there fine.

I'm jealous. I believe that show is one of the most widely bootlegged PF shows and considered one of their best performances ever.

It was quite the set list .. the haunting vocals of "The Great Gig in the Sky" still resonate.
