If anything, it's more like Rogers should buy the rights to Netflix Canada and put Netflix on the digital box (Where Shomi used to be available) if they want to stop slow down the cutting of the cord.

Ignite TV is a very serious joke. Rogers wants way too much money to hook it up ($149.99 connection fee) and too much money per month. 
Why did Rogers need to waste money on all those famous people? If Ignite is so great, wouldn't it sell itself? 
Maybe (long) after those famous people are paid off and the ads go back to being basic ads with no famous faces the price will come down? 
It will have to if Ignite TV wants to survive...
