Good Ratings For RBC Canadian Open Final
CBS did well with the RBC Canadian Open over the weekend. One of the best playoffs matches in a long time saw Canadian Nick Taylor take the crown at Oakdale Golf and Country Club in Oakville, after sinking a remarkable 72.5 foot putt.
Averaging 3.30 million viewers on CBS this was the best ratings for the Open since 2000. Audience peaked during the playoff with 6.8 million viewers.
Since Numeris no longer releases TV ratings for the public, we don't know at this point how ratings did in Canada. Hopefully TSN will provide some numbers this week.
