    The TEGNA merger is OFF

    It turns out that WGRZ's owner, TEGNA, will NOT be merging with Standard General after all.

    Per Lance Venta's Radio Insight, the deal has been terminated after the funding deadline passed.

    The article was more focused on the radio side, than TV. That I don't know.
