Coleen Christie of Global B.C. was doing the noon news when a story about a Ukrainian soldier finding his friend still alive moved her to tears on air. 

Social media can be cruel, but in this case, it wasn't. She drew praise for her honest display of emotion and would later explain there was another reason for it.
