Teletoon Will Soon Be No More As Corus Rebrands

Teletoon, the Corus cable station that shows nothing but animated series, is changing its name, mimicking one that's become famous in the U.S. Next month, it will officially become known as "The Cartoon Network." But that's not the only change.

The company is also rebranding its current version of the Cartoon Network into "Boomerang," another long-time presence on American cable systems. And this one might appeal to adults. It generally features old cartoon series from the 60s and 70s, programs like "Huckleberry Hound," "Yogi Bear," or "The Flintstones."

Both changes take place on March 27th.
