A few weeks ago, it was a documentary on Harold Ballard and the havoc he caused in Toronto hockey history.

On Tuesday, another hockey doc debuts with a very different personality in the spotlight - Willie O'Ree, the first Black player in the NHL and the problems he encountered in getting there. The special airs on the network's Gem streaming service, with a lot of vintage footage unseen for years, and interviews with both O'Ree and the people who have walked in his shoes - or skates.
