WUFO's relatively weak signal has kept it from being a major factor in Toronto, but it's a legendary presence in Buffalo's Black community, where the signal is now also available on FM. It calls itself a "Blend of R&B And Your Favorite Throwbacks," and along with WBLK, it's certainly made an impression in its city of licence.
The woman who now owns this important radio icon once worked there in the 80s, and later left. But Sheila Brown vowed that not only would she return someday - but that she'd own the station. And true to her word, that's exactly what she did.
