If you use any of the so-called "FAST" (Free Ad-supported Streaming Television) services, a big one is about to get a lot bigger. And it's going to add major series you may never have had access to before. 

Tubi.tv already has a ton of great, free stuff on it, but now Warner Bros. TV has announced it's moving many of its shows - including some that aired on pay TV service HBO in the U.S. - to the streamer. And it's no small move. No less than 17 new "channels" are being added, including on Roku. 

Among those shows you'll be able to see for free: "Westworld," the multiple award winning TV version of the old movie and "The Time Traveller's Wife," (both which recently aired on HBO in the U.S.); old WB comedy classics like "Head of The Class"; and a host of themed channels ranging from mysteries, cooking, pets, sci fi, way more reality shows than is healthy for a human being to watch, and perhaps best of all, a collection of the studio's most famous movies ranging from the 70s to the 90s. 

The only real question at the moment is whether you'll need a VPN to get these additions. A lot depends on the rights of each show in Canada, which likely means some of them won't be accessible here without a virtual private network set to the U.S. 

The newcomers will become available this spring.
